Hi, Canyon de Chelly is beautiful but a bit out of the way. Your route makes sense geographically. Skipping Antelope Canyon is a pity, but if you prefer less crowded places, de Chelly is a great choice. Just keep in mind that you can only get to the bottom of the canyon with a Navajo guide.

Does anyone have experience adding Canyon de Chelly to this/similar road trip?
I’m thinking of fitting it in like GC South Rim – Flagstaff – Meteor Crater – Petrified Forest – Canyon de Chelly – Monument Valley. We would skip Horseshoe Bend/Antelope Canyon.
Has anyone driven this or something similar?

Hi Monica, (I’m Petr, not Alex, but I’ll answer :)). Fast passes (Genie+ or Lightning Lane now) are linked to a specific ticket/person and are usually non-transferable or checked via photo/ticket scan. I wouldn’t recommend cheating. The biggest queues are usually for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance or Avatar Flight of Passage (depending on which park you mean). Definitely head there first.
